GDR championships in biathlon 1967
The GDR championships in biathlon were held for the 10th time in 1967 . The championships were held in two runs. The first run took place in January 1967 in Zinnwald with the individual competition. The decisive second run was held in Oberhof in March . Egon Schnabel repeated his title win of the two previous years in the competition over 20 kilometers. With three titles he is the only German biathlete who managed such a hat trick. After a military patrol competition and a relay competition for the first time was held in 1965, but there was no team competition in the previous year, a relay competition was held again, which SG Dynamo Zinnwald won again.
