biography

Jennifer Davids is the elder of two daughters, a German and a Filipina. A kindergarten teacher noticed Jennifer's flair for music. She took piano lessons at the city music school at an early age. There she began to improvise and play a number of pop songs by ear. At sixteen, Jennifer took her first singing lessons and used music and singing competitions as a forum for first stage experiences.

In 1999 she recorded her first album Predictable . The single Love, Pain And The Whole Damn Thing was released in 2000 and made it into the German top 100 single charts as an airplay hit. In 2001 the album Predictable was released. Davids was invited to appear as a “special guest” in the opening act for the Hamburg pop duo Orange Blue . The tour took her through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The years 2003-2005 Jennifer Davids devoted entirely to her own songwriting. During this time the decision also matured to tackle the second album together with the producer and musician Armin Ludaescher. The resulting album Brand New Start was released in 2006.
