Jennifer "Jenny" Evans-van der Harten (born February 20, 1980 in Mijdrecht ) is a Dutch singer-songwriter and harpist .

biography

Jennifer Evans-van der Harten was born in Mijdrecht in 1980 and began playing the classical piano at the age of five . She started playing the neoceltic harp as a teenager. Evans-van der Harten studied music at the Amsterdam Conservatory and Irish harp with Janet Harbison in Ireland . She played with various groups such as Anúna (Ireland), Shantalla (Belgium) and Lazarus Harps (USA) and entered in 2002 the Pagan-folk - group Omnia at.

Evans-van der Harten is married to her bandmate Steve Evans, who changed his last name to Evans-van der Harten after the marriage, just like her.
