Jens Lipsdorf

Jens Lipsdorf (born July 18, 1967 in Cottbus ) is a German archaeologist, politician ( FDP ) and was a member of the Brandenburg state parliament from 2009 to 2014 .

After graduating from high school, Jens Lipsdorf did military service from 1986 to 1989 and studied medicine from 1989 to 1991 and then from 1991 to 1997 classical and prehistoric archeology at the University of Halle up to a master's degree. After the exam, Jens Lipsdorf worked as a freelancer in the workshop for monument preservation and restoration in Naumburg (monument preservation management in Naumburg) from 1996 to 1998, and from 1998 to 2001 as a research assistant at the Brandenburg State Office for Monument Preservation , Department of Soil Monument Preservation , Department of Lignite. Since 2002 he has been working as a freelancer and has an office for archeology and monument preservation.

From 2007 to 2008 he trained in public relations management (examination and certification organization of the German communications industry - PZOK) at the Lausitz University of Applied Sciences and completed his training as a PR consultant.

From 2008 to 2013 he was managing director of Posamenten Manufaktur Forst GmbH.

Jens Lipsdorf has been a member of the FDP since 2006 and was chairman of the FDP city association Cottbus and member of the FDP state executive from 2007 to 2013. From 2008 to 2014 he was chairman of the FDP district association Lausitz. He headed the FDP state committee for science, research and universities.

In the state elections in 2009 he was elected to the state parliament. In parliament he was chairman of the committee on science, research and culture. When the FDP left the state elections in Brandenburg in 2014 , he lost his mandate.
