Jens Oltrogge

Jens Oltrogge (* 1962 ) is a former German basketball player . He played for TV Langen and MTV Gießen in the basketball league .

career

Oltrogge played in the youth of TV 1862 Langen . In 1979 he took part with the German national cadet team at the European Championship in Damascus , Syria , after he had taken an exchange year at a high school in the United States in the 1978/79 season .

For the game year 1979/80 Oltrogge was included in the Langen second division squad. In 1985 he rose to the first division with Hessen and played in the following years for his home club in the top German division.

In 1987, Oltrogge took part in the Universiade in Zagreb with the German national student team. In 1988 he was relegated to Langen from the Bundesliga and in 1989 again. For the 1989/90 season Oltrogge left the TVL and moved to the Bundesliga club MTV 1846 Giessen , for whom he played until 1991.
