Jens Pieper

Jens Gerhard Pieper (born February 9, 1968 in Braunschweig ) is a German archer .

Jens Pieper acted as an archer in the Olympic discipline recurve bow . The graduate engineer from Braunschweig belonged to the German B national team. He was trained by Oliver Haidn and started for the Querum shooting club . He celebrated his greatest success at the 2003 World Cup in Nimes , where he finished seventh. In 2006 he was German champion. Two years later he was in his sport for which the only German male Starter 2008 Olympic Games from Beijing to qualify, finishing in 47th in singles.

In 2009 Pieper won against Viktor Ruban (Ukraine), the Olympic champion in Beijing 2008 at the World Cup of Archery in Shanghai (China). He also takes part in numerous competitions outside of the Olympic Games.
