Jens Zimmermann (born January 5, 1967 in Langenhagen ) is a former German sports shooter in the squad of the German Shooting Federation .

Career

Jens Zimmermann, who was promoted to the senior national squad in 1990, became European champion with the team just one year later and won silver at the World Cup in Perth . In addition, surprisingly he was able to qualify for the Olympic Games 1992 in the discipline running target against other German shooters . He finished sixth. Four years later he took part again in the Olympic Games in Atlanta , where he finished seventh.
