Jeon Jong-seo (born July 5, 1994 ) is a South Korean actress .

Life

Jeon Jong-seo studied film at Sejong University . Instead of attending lectures, she often went to the cinema. She decided to audition for Lee Chang-dong's new film Burning (2018) and, contrary to expectations, received the lead role and an invitation to the Cannes Film Festival for her film debut .

In 2019 Jeon Jong-seo will be seen alongside Park Shin-hye in the thriller Call . It is the feature film debut of director Lee Chung-hyun, who attracted attention at film festivals with his short film 몸값 Momgap 'Bargain' (2015). She caught the attention of director Ana Lily Amirpour through Jeon's performance in Burning . Jeon will play a lead role in the fantasy adventure Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon .
