Jeremias Rhetius

Jeremias Rhetius (also Jeremias Rhaetius , born August 30, 1631 in Arnstadt ; † 1681 ibid) was a German physician and city ​​physician of Arnstadt.

Life

Jeremias Rhetius studied medicine with Gottfried Möbius at the University of Jena . Rhetius was a licentiate in medicine and worked as a general practitioner in Arnstadt until the end of his life.

On June 26, 1668, Jeremias Rhetius was registered under registration no. 31 with the academic surname Castor I was accepted as a member of the Academia Naturae Curiosorum , today's German Academy of Natural Scientists Leopoldina .
