Jeremy Pikser is a screenwriter .
Life
Pikser began his screenwriting career in 1989 with the comedy film The Lemon Sisters . However, the film with Diane Keaton and Carol Kane was a commercial failure and also flunked criticism. It was almost a decade before his next script was written. Pikser was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe for the script for the comedy film Bulworth , written together with Warren Beatty . In 2008 War Inc. was created - you order war: We deliver , Pikser wrote the screenplay together with leading actors John Cusack and Mark Leyner .
Pikser teaches at New York University and the Tisch School of the Arts . He was also inducted into the Council of the Writers Guild of America in 2006 and has been Vice-President there since 2011.
