Jerome Jordan Pollitt
Jerome Jordan Pollitt (born November 26, 1934 in Fair Lawn ) is an American classical archaeologist .
Life
He earned a BA from Yale University (1957) and a PhD from Columbia University (1963). He was appointed Full Professor at Yale University in 1973 , John M. Schiff Professor of Classical Archeology and Art History in 1990, and Sterling Professor in 1995.
