The Botanical Garden Jerusalem ( Jerusalem Botanical Gardens - JBG ) is a 1931-founded Botanical Garden in Jerusalem near the Knesset ( Israel ). Until 1994 it belonged to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem , on whose campus it is still today (Givat Ram). It is divided into the northern part (12 hectares) and the southern part (6 hectares).

It wasn't opened to the public until 1985 . In 1986 the greenhouse was opened.

The operator has been the Botanical Garden Association since 1996 , an amalgamation of the university, the city administration, the Jewish National Fund , the Jerusalem Fund , the CG Fund and the Society of Friends of the Botanic Gardens .
