Jesper Alm (* 1995 in Vimmerby ) is a Swedish floorball player in the position of striker. Alm is under contract with the SSL association Linköping IBK.

Career

Vimmerby IBK

Alm began his floorball career in 2007 at Vimmerby IBK, a floorball club from the southern Swedish province of Kalmar. He played in Vimmerby's youth team until 2010, before being promoted to Division 2 in the first team's squad for the 2010/11 season. In his first season he already scored seven goals and three assists. In the following season he was able to improve further and collected 24 scorer points. In 2012/13, the then only 17-year-old was unable to build on his performance from the previous season. In 2013/14 he drew 39 scorer points in 20 games to clubs from the Svenskan Superligan . He also excelled in the national selection and caught the attention of top clubs with his Zorro trick.

Linköping IBK

After the 2013/14 season, Alm moved to Linköping , where he played 30 games in his first season and scored a total of four goals. With Linköping, Alm moved into the final of the SSL. In the final, however, Linköping lost to IBF Falun . In 2015/16 he was able to move into the superfinal again with Linköping. Linköping could not win the superfinal against Storvreta IBK . In 2016 Alm was also loaned out to his former club from Vimmerby for seven games before moving back to Linköping for the 2016/17 season.

Also in his third season at Linköping Alm was able to move into the playoffs with the first team. Alm was used in 23 of 35 possible games in regular time. He didn't score a goal. He played five more games in Linköping's second team in Division 1 Mellersta Svealand, where he scored two goals and one assist.
