Storvreta IBK is a Swedish floorball club from Storvreta near Uppsala , which plays in the Swedish elite series. They play their home games in the Fyrishov Arena , which is ten kilometers away in the Svartbäcken district of Uppsala. The club is four-time Swedish champion and was able to secure the European Cup twice (2010 and 2012).
history
Storvreta IBK, founded in 1989, made it to the top division of Swedish college hockey for the 2001/02 season and has since played in the elite series. With around 1,700 members, it is one of the largest clubs in floorball. Furthermore, the club has been organizing the Storvretacupen since 1994, which is the world's largest floorball tournament for young people between the ages of ten and 20 years.
