IBF Örebro is a Swedish sports club from the city of Örebro . The men's team plays in the Svenska Superligan , the highest Swedish league , in 2017/18 .

history

founding

In 2006, Axbergs IF and Örebro SK Innebandy joined forces to promote young people. On May 20, 2011 the IBF Örebro was finally founded. Already in the first season the team of head coach Janne Ekengren reached the second place in division 1. In 2012/13 the men's team Örebros succeeded in advancing to the Allsvenskan without defeat. In the first season, the men's team with the fifth place in the table did not take part in the playoffs.

In 2016/17 they qualified for the SSL promotion playoffs and won the final against FBC Kalmarsund, where Kim Nilsson played.

Stadion

The Örebro teams have been playing at Idrottshuset in Örebro since 2013. In the Huset there are two halls available to Örebro. The larger of the two halls has a capacity of 2300 people and the smaller one has space for 1700 people.
