Linköping IBK is a Swedish floorball club from Linköping . Both the men and women play in the highest Swedish table tennis league, the Svenska Superligan .

history

The association was formed on April 6, 2008 when KFUM Linköping and FC Linköping merged. The club has around 1200 members and more than 70 teams.

Ladies

The women rose from Division 1 to the SSL in 2012 after a season without defeat. In the SSL, however, the women had problems keeping up and were relegated to the second highest division after only one season. In 2014/15 Linköping was able to secure group victory in Division 1 and qualify for the promotion games. In the promotion games she was able to prevail against Hammarby IF IBF and Malmö FBC. In 2015/16 the women were able to keep the class with 25 points.

Men's

The men have been in two Svenska Superligan finals so far , 2014 and 2016, but both lost to the two teams from Falun and Storvreta .

Stadion

Linköping teams play at Linköping Sports Center whenever possible.
