Warberg IC or WIC is a Swedish sports club from Varberg from the municipality of the same name. The men's team plays in the Svenska Superligan , the highest Swedish division.

history

The association was founded on November 8, 1985. Between 2000 and 2015 Warberg was always able to qualify for the playoffs. The men have won the Swedish championship four times so far, namely in 1998, 2005, 2007, 2008. In 2001, 2003, 2009 and 2011 they were in the final of the Svenska Superligan . The Warberg IC won the coveted Champions Cup three times. This makes Warberg one of the most successful teams in Swedish floorball.

Despite his sporting success, Warberg was relegated to the Allsvenskan after the 2016/17 season.

Stadion

The Höllviken teams play in the Sparbankshalle if possible. It has a capacity of 2200 seats. Alternatively, the association can use the Sparbanken Wictory Center, which offers space for 900 spectators.
