Daniel Karlander

Daniel Karlander (* 1987 in Lerum ) is a Swedish floorball player in the forward position. Karlander is under contract with the National League A club UHC Alligator Malans .

Career

Sweden

FBC Lerum

Karlander started his career at FBC Lerum from his hometown of Lerum . Until 2005 he played in Sweden's fourth highest league in his hometown.

Partille IBS

Before he moved to Partille IBS in Div 1. In the Herrar Div 1 Södra, the third highest division, he scored a total of 79 points in 44 games. After two seasons he left Partille and moved to FBC Gothenburg.

FBC Gothenburg

At Gothenburg he drew the attention of the top clubs from the top division with his 14 goals and 16 assists.

Pixbo Wallenstam IBK

After only one season, the 22-year-old left the club for Mölnlycke to join Pixbo Wallenstam IBK . At Pixbo he only played one game in the top division before he was deported to the second team. In total, he only played three games for Pixbo. He couldn't book an assist or a goal.

FBC Gothenburg

After just half a season he moved to FBC Gothenburg. At Gothenburg he was used in seven games and scored 11 points scorer. After the season, the club announced that Karlander would leave the club.

Partille IBS

After half a season in Gothenburg , Karlander then moved to his former club Partille IBS. At Partille he flourished again and was able to achieve 35 scorer points in his first season. He was thus directly involved in a third of all goals. Partille finished the season in 9th place. In his second season, he and his teammates could no longer build on the performance from the previous season. Nevertheless, he scored 19 points scorer.

Warberg IC

His performances in the Allvenskan Södra did not go unnoticed. In the summer of 2012 he was signed by the Warberg IC. He flourished in the SSL and scored 21 points scorer in his first season, but could not prevent the quarter-finals against his former Pixbo Wallenstam.

Also in his second season with Warberg he failed with his teammates in the quarter-finals at the AIK IBF.

He finished the regular 2014/15 season with Warberg in 8th place and qualified for the playoffs. Warberg could only qualify for the playoffs because it had the better goal difference than IBK Dalen . In the playoffs Warberg failed because of third place in the table from Linköping . Karlander scored 31 points up to and including the playoffs.

In 2015/16 Karlander failed to qualify for the playoff with Warberg.

In his last season with Warberg he scored 53 points scorer. Karlander couldn't prevent Warberg's relegation with his goals and assists.

Change to Switzerland

Just a few weeks after the end of the season, on March 31, 2017, the Swiss club UHC Alligator Malans announced the transfer of the Swedish offensive player. At Malans he will play again under his old Warberg coach, Oscar Lundin . Karlander receives a one-year contract with Malans with the option of an additional season. The contract extension with Karlander was announced on May 23, 2018.
