The Karlstad IBF is a Swedish floorball club from Karlstad . Both the men's and women's teams play in the Svenska Superligan , the highest Swedish division.

history

In 2001 the two clubs Sjöstad IF and NB87 merged. Both teams have had great successes in the past. From the 2015/16 season, the club competed in the national championship under the name Karlstad IBF.

After the 2016/17 season, the men were relegated to the Allsvenskan again. The women remain in the top Swedish division.

Stadion

The club plays its home games in the Colorama Arena. The sports hall was specially designed for the purpose of uni-hockey games. It has space for 850 spectators.
