Jessica Rankin

Jessica Rankin (* 1971 in Sydney ) is an Australian artist who lives and works in New York . She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in the USA, Europe and Australia. The most recent solo exhibitions are White Cube, London (2007), PS1 Contemporary Arts Center, New York (2006) and Franklin Artworks, Minneapolis (2005). Rankin is known for her organza paintings , as well as her drawings and watercolors. Her father, David Rankin , is also a successful artist. Rankin shares a studio with another famous artist, Julie Mehretu .
