Jesus is the fourth studio album by the band Snubnose and heavier than the previous ones. The central theme of the concept album is the biblical person Jesus .

The album begins in the prologue with a recitative from the first 14 verses of the Gospel of John ( Joh 1,1-14  EU ) and ends with the epilogue , which contains passages from the letters of Paul ( Phil 2,6-11  EU and Col 1, 15-21  EU ). On the one hand, the songs express the circumstances of the people whom Jesus met and, on the other hand, they describe from the point of view of certain people what effects (such as feelings, thoughts) this encounter had. Thus, in a release the feelings of a woman described by Jesus before their stoning saved ( Jn 8.1 to 11  EU ), in Woman at the Well , the encounter is a woman with Jesus at a well ( Jn 4.1 to 42  EU ) from their point of view.

In addition to literal or analogous biblical quotations, some figures also put motifs in their mouths, for which there is no uniform interpretation in theology to this day. For example, in Judas Iscariot , Judas tells of his hopes that Jesus would free Israel from the occupying power (the Romans) and that his disappointed expectations led him to betrayal.
