Snubnose was a Christian Metal - band from Ludwigsburg . The band, founded in 1993, was called "The Circumcised" until 1997. They called their style of music "Melodic-Groove-Core".

Band history

In autumn they broke up after a farewell concert on September 23, 2001 in the Röhre in Stuttgart. The former singer and front man Martin Schabel then sang with the band Toelz , Benjamin Pozsgai was a member of the band until the dissolution of Opposition of One .

renaming

In 1997 the band renamed itself because fans who wore t-shirts from "The Circumcised" in English-speaking countries were repeatedly advised that the band name was a colloquial expression and that the actual German translation was not understood. "The circumcised" was, according to the band members, a metaphor for a spiritual attitude. The new name "Snubnose" (German: "Snub nose") was given no deeper meaning.
