Jevgeni Novikov (born June 28, 1980 in Narva ; Russian Евгений Александрович Новиков Yevgeny Alexandrovich Novikov ) is an Estonian football player .

Career

His first stop was at FC Trans Narva, where he was a regular. Then he was signed by FC Flora Tallinn. Further trips to Ukraine, Russia and Latvia were among his goals. Since the 2009 season he has been under contract with the Estonian club JK Nõmme Kalju. Since August 2010 Novikov has been playing in Finland with FF Jaro von Pietarsaari. According to the media, Bradford City from England was interested in a transfer for the 2009/10 season.

In the national team of Estonia he made thirteen appearances at intervals, scoring two goals. He played his last international match so far in 2008.
