Yevgeny Viktorovich Nalimov

Yevgeny Viktorovich Nalimow ( Russian Евгений Викторович Налимов ; born February 23, 1965 in Novosibirsk ) is a Russian mathematician and chess programmer . He is known for his work in computer chess .

For the development of algorithms and programs to create the Nalimov endgame databases named after him , he was awarded a prize by ChessBase in Maastricht in 2002.
