The Jezioro Myczkowskie is a reservoir on the San in the Polish province Podkarpackie . It is located in the Bieszczady , a part of the Carpathian Forest downstream from Jezioro Solińskie .

description

Behind the 15-meter-high dam the water of the San and smaller tributaries is dammed. With full back which includes reservoir 11 million cubic meters of water. The water area is then 2 square kilometers.

history

The reservoir was built from 1921 and flooded in 1925. The expansion took place from 1956 to 1960. It is used both as a swimming lake and as a protective storage against flooding and as a hydropower plant.

There are several beaches on the shore of the lake.
