The water area is then 2 square kilometers and has an area of 2200 hectares . With a volume of 472 million cubic meters (also called 474 million m³) it is the largest reservoir in Poland. The water is up to 60 m deep. When it was dammed, the villages of Solina, Telesnica Sanna, Horodek, Sokole, Chrewt and a large part of Wolkowyja were flooded. The lake has numerous arms and bays.
