Jhonatan Vaz , full name Jhonatan Eduardo Vaz Silva Caballero , (born September 5, 1987 in Tacuarembó ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.91 meter tall goalkeeper Vaz was initially active for Tacuarembó FC and played at least 2009 for the amateur club Defensor. With his Wanderers Juvenil club, trained by Javier Duarte , he won the 2013 Departamento Championship in Divisional A of the Asociación de Fútbol de Tacuarembó from Tacuarembó, known as "Maestra Teresita Pérez" . In 2014 he won the title of Uruguayan Master of the Interior (Cempeón del Interior) with the department selection of the Department Tacuarembó , which is played between the department selections. At that time he also worked for the Wanderers at club level. A change of club to Saladero from Salto had already been decided at this point. He has been in the squad of the then Uruguayan first division club Tacuarembó FC since at least the 2015 Clausura . He did not get to a use in the Primera División there. However, in that half-series of his engagement, he was almost regularly on the reserve bench as a substitute goalkeeper in the first division games. After relegation at the end of the season, he played a second division match in the 2015/16 season.
