Jiří Kroupa
Jiří Kroupa (born October 9, 1951 in Brno , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech art historian and since 1999 director of the seminar for art history at Masaryk University in Brno.
Kroupa deals with the genesis of different artistic works, with a focus on the Baroque era . Most of his texts were written as lecture notes, which he later processed into scientific treatises.
