Jiří Lanský
Jiří Lanský (born September 17, 1933 in Prague , † February 14, 2017 in Lázně Toušeň ) was a Czechoslovak high jumper .
In 1951 he won the World Festival of Youth and Students .
At the European Athletics Championships he won silver in 1954 in Bern and 1958 in Stockholm (with his personal best of 2.10 m).
In 1959 he won silver at the World Festival of Youth and Students, and in 1960 he was seventh at the Olympic Games in Rome .
He was Czechoslovakian champion six times (1954, 1958–1960, 1963, 1964).
