Jiří Topinka (born April 1, 1985 ) is a Czech grass skier . He has taken part in a world championship so far and once finished in the points in the World Cup .

Career

Jiří Topinka has competed in the Czech Cup since 2004. In 2006 he took part in FIS races for the first time and was twice among the best 30. On July 5, 2008, the Czech competed in his first World Cup race . In the giant slalom in Čenkovice , he finished 24th, which was his first and only World Cup points to this day. In the 2008 season , this was his only World Cup race, which is why he came in 69th place only as penultimate in the overall standings. The Czech had two more starts in the World Cup in July 2009 in the two slaloms in Čenkovice. In the first slalom he was disqualified after placing 25 in the first run because of a goal error in the second run and in the second slalom he was 33rd in run one and unable to qualify for the final run. In the 2009 season he therefore remained without World Cup points. In September of the same year Topinka took part in the world championship in Rettenbach . Although he was ranked in all competitions, he only achieved placements among the last five. In 2010 Topinka only competed in the Czech Cup and in 2011, in addition to races in the Czech Cup, he again took part in two FIS races in his home country. In 2012 he only competed in the Czech Cup.
