The Jialing District ( Chinese  嘉陵区 , Pinyin Jiālíng Qū ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Nanchong in the northeast of the southwest Chinese province of Sichuan . It has an area of ​​1,170 square kilometers and has a population of 680,000 (2004).
