Jiang Yanjiao ( Chinese  蒋 燕 皎 ; born June 26, 1986 in Changzhou , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese badminton player .

successes

Jiang Yanjiao belongs to the new generation of world-class players from the Middle Kingdom. In 2002 she won the women's singles world junior championship , two years later the Asian junior badminton championship . In 2005 she became a Chinese champion. In 2007 and 2008 she won the Asian Badminton Championships . With the Chinese Uber Cup team, she was team world champion in 2006 and 2008. Despite these successes, she was not nominated for the Olympics in 2008, as the starting places per country were limited to three and other players were given preference.
