Jigsaw Rock Gut (English for puzzle rock channel ) is a striking canyon in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range it lies 800 meters west of the Margaret Hill of Rucker Ridge .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1994 following work by a team from the New Zealand Geological Survey . The name is an allegory of the nested folds in the marble rock of the east wall of this gorge.
