James Shooter (born September 27, 1951 in Pittsburgh ) is an American comic book author .
Life
When he was 14, he joined DC Comics as the writer of the Legion of Super-Heroes series . In 1978 he became editor-in-chief at Marvel Comics and led Marvel to success with new ideas and comic titles.
