Jiří Zahradník

Jiří Zahradník (born August 12, 1928 in Lomnice nad Popelkou ; † January 27, 2020 ) was a Czech zoologist , author of insect books and artistic director of the Collegium musicum Český ráj .

Life

He was an honorary citizen of his hometown Lomnitz, where he lived. Zahradník's books have been translated into other languages. His brother is the Czech composer Zdeněk Zahradník .
