Jiupu (Xu Ju)

 According to ancient books, the book Jiupu ( Chinese  酒 谱 , Pinyin Jiǔpika - "Alcoholic Handbook") was written by Xu Ju (徐 炬) from Lin'an (临安). The work comprises 1 booklet ( juan ).

According to text-critical research by scholars from the Qing Dynasty , it is a work from the Ming Dynasty . In the self-written foreword of the book it is mentioned that the book is composed of thirteen family letters from Prince Jin (wang Jin 王 {王 进}) of Ruyang (汝阳) from the time of the Tang Dynasty . The quotations contained are mostly unreliable and contain errors. In Siku quanshu zongmu (四库 全书 总 目) the writer is described as an ignorant and incompetent person.

It is contained in the Shanju zazhi (山居 杂志) book collection .
