Jiupu (Dou Ping)
The Chinese book Jiupu ( Chinese 酒 譜 / 酒 谱 - "Alcoholic Handbook") is a monograph devoted to alcoholic beverages by Dou Ping (窦 苹) from the time of the Song Dynasty . The author's name was Ziye 子 野, and he came from the town of Wenshang汶上 in Shandong Province . The book consists of a booklet ( juan ) and is divided into twelve chapters.
A large part of it tells anecdotes about alcohol, linguistically it is written in a very modern style.

Wrong spelling of the author's name
Occasionally, the author's name is spelled incorrectly: Dou Ge 窦 革, also in Chugoku shokkei sosho .
Further works and chapter headings with the same title
Up to the Ming period there was a work with the same name Jiupu (酒 谱) in a volume (juan) by Xu Ju (徐 炬), it is contained in the book collection Shanju zazhi (山居 杂志). Also from Feng Chengjun (冯承钧) exists a book with this name. In various works, including the Tiaodingji , there are also chapter headings with this name.

The book of Dou Ping (窦 苹) is contained in several ancient book collections ( congshu ): Baichuan xuehai (百川 学海), Tang Song congshu唐宋 丛书, Shuofu说 郛 and Siku quanshu四库 全书. It is also included in the Japanese collection Chugoku shokkei sosho .
