About the great pleasure of remaining a real man (1991) and man has it. The Justification of Masculinism (1992). However, Bürger has written considerably more books in the field of marketing and advertising.

As part of his book presentations, he was a guest on more than 50 talk shows in the early 1990s and gained further notoriety when he was kicked out of the Schreinemakers Live program .

In 2010, Joachim H. Bürger founded Store Development GmbH, which has the registered trademark “ZiC´nZaC - fabrics. Tailor. Sewing café. ”Has had a pioneering influence on the hobby tailoring market. Through an intensive market analysis, the marketing specialist recognized that the market for specialist sewing shops had been severely neglected by marketing up to now. Based on this market analysis, Bürger developed a comprehensive corporate concept and opened the first ZiC'nZaC branch in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia in October 2010. This branch sees itself as a test operation in which marketing services and merchandise management strategies are tried out and which forms the starting point for nationwide branching. The store is primarily aimed at women aged 25 and over. In 2012, the shop had a turnover of around 1.2 million euros a year with 13 employees and has exceeded the breakeven point.

Joachim H. Bürger has been the initiator of the “Festival of the best German-speaking fairy tale and storytellers” since 2006, which took place in 2015 for the tenth year on the Lower Rhine around the “Old Mill in the Dong” and is an important event in this genre. Since 2011 the “Goldene Spindel” has been awarded at this festival, which in 2015 went to Martin Ellrodt.

In 2007, JH Bürger was appointed Commander of Ireland by the Presidium of the International Brotherhood Order VdW - World Federation of Wine Knights. The aim of the order is to promote and impart knowledge about the history of wine and its culture. In 2011 Joachim H. Bürger or ZiC'nZaC was awarded the German Retail Innovation Prize of the HDE . In 2013 he was a finalist in the Querdenker Award, which was presented by the Querdenker Club on November 21, 2013 in the BMW World in Munich. In 2014 he was awarded the “Tacken 2014” marketing prize, the most important in the Ruhr metropolitan region, from the Essen-Mülheim-Oberhausen Marketing Club in the “Start-Up” category for his ZiC'nZaC business concept.
