Joachim Hubertus Nowack

Joachim Hubertus Nowack (born December 10, 1935 in Opole ) is a German politician ( DSU , CDU ).

Nowack was raised in Silesia and arrived in Leipzig in 1947 after fleeing and being expelled . After attending elementary school, he was not allowed to attend secondary school leading to the Abitur, so he completed an apprenticeship as a measurement technician. On the second path of education, he passed the Abitur in 1960. He studied physics at the Karl Marx University in Leipzig , where he graduated as a physicist in 1967. He worked as an IT specialist in industry, including at Leuchtenbau Leipzig .

Nowack was a co-founder of the CSU in Saxony and Thuringia as well as the DSU, where he became deputy and executive chairman in February 1990. In March he was elected to the last people 's chamber . In July he left the DSU and joined the CDU in September. From October to December 1990 he was a member of the German Bundestag .
