Joachim Koch (doctor)
Joachim Koch (born April 27, 1939 in Stuttgart ) is a German general practitioner and professional medical officer .
Life
Joachim Koch was born in Stuttgart in 1939 as the son of the businessman Hugo Koch and his wife Irene. He grew up with a twin brother. After graduating from high school in Ludwigsburg, he studied medicine in Tübingen and Vienna from 1961. After the state examination (1968), doctorate to Dr. med. in Tübingen (1969), medical assistant time in Ludwigsburg, Marbach, Böblingen and Sigmaringen and license to practice medicine (1970) he was in the surgical department of the Ludwigsburg Clinic until 1973. He worked there for three years. In 1973 he settled as a general practitioner (later general practitioner) in Pleidelsheim , where he worked as a doctor until 2002.
From 1976 to 2003 he was chairman of the medical association in Ludwigsburg and from 1979 to 2010 a member of the board of the district medical association of North-Württemberg. From 1999 to 2007 he was finally chairman of the finance commission of the German Medical Association .
