Joachim Lang (engineer)

Joachim Lang (born February 5, 1960 in Bochum ) is a German entrepreneur , precision mechanic and engineer .

Life

Joachim Lang was born in Bochum in 1960 . He completed an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic, was responsible for the repair of precision mechanical and optical instruments during his time with the German Armed Forces and finally studied precision engineering (focus on biomedical technology) at the Ulm University of Applied Sciences .

In 1994 he founded the service company euro engineering together with Winfried Keppler , which developed into one of the largest German engineering service providers. In 2001 Joachim Lang founded the engineering company consinion GmbH in Ulm for management consulting , interim management and personnel development .

Lang was a member of the Senate of the Ulm University of Applied Sciences and from 2009 to 2017 chairman of the Pro! Ulm University of Applied Sciences . From 1996 to 2002 he was chairman of the Donau-Iller district group in the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and from 2002 to 2012 chairman of the supervisory board of Ingenics AG .

From 2010 he was a member of the supervisory board of Organobalance Medical AG in Berlin, founded by Christine Lang , and was deputy chairman of the supervisory board from the end of 2016 to June 2020 after it was renamed Belano Medical AG .

He is also active on boards and advisory boards of several companies and organizations as well as in professional and professional associations.
