Joachim Linnemann

Joachim "Joe" Linnemann (born April 17,  1951 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German national basketball player . He took part in the 1972 Summer Olympics.

career

The 2.01 meter tall German-American moved in 1971 from the United States to USC Heidelberg  in the basketball league , where he immediately became a top performer. After the 1971/72 season he left the USC again.

In 1972 he took part in the Summer Olympics in Munich as a member of the German national team. In five tournaments he scored an average of 4.5 points per encounter.

In the mid / late 1970s, Linnemann played for TSV Quakenbrück in the 2nd basketball division .
