Joachim Seidel

Joachim Seidel (* 1960 ) is a German journalist and writer .

Life

Seidel worked, among other things, for the magazine Gala , wrote columns for the Frankfurter Rundschau and was editor-in-chief of the magazine "Painters: Life, Work and Their Time" in the 1980s.

In 1979 he recorded a punk single with the band "Remo Voor", which was re-released in 2009 on Rich Bitch Records, USA. Joachim Seidel's debut novel HimbeerToni (2010) and its successor “ErdbeerSchorsch” (2012) address the needs of men around forty in a funny way. In 2012 he read the role of the narrator on the audio book CD "Onno Viets und der Irre vom Kiez" by Frank Schulz . Seidel also appeared as a scriptwriter. For his cinema project “Jung, Deutsch und Weiß” he received production and screenplay funding from the Hamburg film office.

Joachim Seidel lives in Hamburg and has a daughter and a son.
