Joachim Vogl

At the 14th Crossbow World Championship in Sulgen / CH in July 2008, Joachim Vogl was team world champion and vice world champion in the individual ranking with the 10-meter crossbow.

Joachim Vogl (born September 28, 1973 in Fürstenfeldbruck ) is a former German sports shooter . Since October 2013 he has been editor-in-chief of the trade journal automation , Henrich Publications GmbH , Gilching .

Life

Joachim Vogl started air rifle shooting in 1985 (at the age of 12) with the shooting club "Eintracht" Etterschlag . At the age of 20 he switched to the Kgl. priv. FSG "Der Bund" Munich . Johann Riederer (bronze medalist at the Summer Olympics in 1988 and 1992 ), from whose experience Vogl learned, was partly responsible for this change . A short time later, Joachim Vogl took a permanent place in the Bayern team and used it as a stepping stone into the national team ( air rifle and crossbow 10 meters).

Joachim Vogl was in the crossbow squad of the German Schützenbund eV from 1996 to 2012 as well as team world champion (1999 with a world record and 2008) with the 10-meter crossbow. In addition, he holds the German final record in this discipline. In addition, Vogl has been shooting for the Kgl since the beginning of the Air Rifle League (in 1997) . priv. FSG “Der Bund” Munich and was German champion here in 2000, 2001 and 2011. Joachim Vogl ended his sporting career in autumn 2012. He has been married since 2006 and has two sons (* 2008, 2010).
