Joachim von Vintzelberg
Joachim von Vintzelberg (* before 1636, † after 1636) was a German courtier and administrative officer.
Life
Vintzelberg comes from a noble family in the Altmark, which derives its name from the village of Vinzelberg near Gardelegen .
According to the current state of research, nothing is known about Vintzelberg's childhood and youth, apart from his studies at the Collegium illustrious in Tübingen .
On his great north German trip, Prince Ludwig I of Anhalt-Köthen accepted Vintzelberg into the Fruit - Bringing Society together with Christian Count von Rantzau in 1636 . The prince gave Vintzelberg the company name "the four-leaf" and the motto "falls happily". "A four-leaf clover" was assigned to him as an emblem. In Köthener society book is Vintzelbergs entry is under the number 299. There is also the rhyme Act is recorded, which he had written during his recording.:
- If beautiful green clover gives fourfold leaves,
- If you think you are happy to eat, and therefore love him very much
- Found in no danger. Hence, four-leaf stroke me
- I have received that fall happily
- My life, even forwards, God grant me grace
- That I strive for heaven through its drive,
- Again nothing can be happy in all the world
- Alß whom the best released gentlemen
