Joaquín Cordero

Joaquín Cordero Aurrecoechea (born August 16, 1922 in Puebla , Mexico , † February 19, 2013 in Mexico City ) was a Mexican actor .

Life

Joaquín Cordero grew up in Mexico City. He originally studied to be a priest. But already during that time he decided to study law, which he dropped out after three years to become an actor. From the mid-1940s he played in several Mexican film and theater productions. From the 1960s, he was also increasingly seen in television series and telenovelas , making him one of the most popular Mexican actors.

On February 19, 2013, Cordero died in his sleep in his home in Mexico City at the age of 90. From 1950 until his death he was married to Alma Guzmán. The couple had three children together.
