Joaquim Fiúza

Joaquim Mascarenhas de Fiúza (born February 8, 1908 in Lisbon , † March 4, 2010 ) was a Portuguese sailor .

biography

Fiúza was already taking part in the Star Boat Class in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Kiel when he finished tenth with António de Herédia . In 1948 in London he reached sixth place together with Júlio Gourinho .

At the Summer Olympics in Helsinki in 1952 , he won a bronze medal at the sailing competitions with the Star Boat together with Francisco de Andrade .
