Jobst Nagel (* in the 16th century; † in the 16th century) was canon in Münster .

Life

Jobst Nagel came from the Westphalian noble family of Nagel , which had its origins in the County of Ravensberg and spread to the Rhineland and the Netherlands in the 16th century . He was the son of Hermann Nagel zu Königsbrück (1488–1552) and his wife Ursula von Schade zu Ihorst . After August 2, 1569, his brother Johann presented him with a cathedral praise from Münster . Jobst renounced his benefice as early as 1572. Dietrich von Merveldt came into the possession of the prebende. Jobst's brothers Johann andDietrich were also canons in Münster.
