Dietrich Nagel

Dietrich Nagel (* in the 15th century; † in the 15th or 16th century) was canon in Münster and archdeacon of Warendorf.

Life

Dietrich Nagel came from the Westphalian noble family of Nagel , which had its origins in the Grafschaft Ravensberg and spread to the Rhineland and the Netherlands in the 16th century . He was the son of Hermann Nagel zu Königsbrück (1488–1552) and his wife Ursula von Schade zu Ihorst . He studied at the University of Erfurt , where he obtained the Baccalauréat . On April 12, 1474 he received a cathedral praise from Münster , who had become free through the death of Dietrich von Wisch. On February 7, 1493 he became archdeacon of Warendorf. His brothers Johann and Jobst were also canons in Münster.
