Jochen Hageleit

Jochen Hageleit (* 1939 ; † November 19, 2010 in Dubai ) was a German sports reporter.

Hageleit was one of the founders of the Bundesliga switching conference on the radio. On Saturday afternoons he reported on WDR 1 and later on WDR 2 with the program "Sport und Musik" on home games for West German football teams such as MSV Duisburg, VfL Bochum, Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Wuppertaler SV, Schalke 04, Prussia Münster, until 1991 . Alemannia Aachen and Borussia Mönchengladbach. In the show, mostly moderated by Kurt Brumme , Hageleit was one of the colleagues of Armin Hauffe , Sammy Drechsel , Oskar Klose , Kurt Emmerich , Werner Hansch and Heribert Faßbender . For years, Jochen Hageleit was one of the prominent soccer radio voices. His sonorous, but also dynamic voice immediately cast a spell over the audience. Hageleit's reports made the game lively, he described the events so vividly that the listener at the loudspeaker felt transported into the stadium.

Hageleit died of a heart attack at the age of 71 while on vacation in Dubai.
